I think only today we had seen many examples why the European Parliament matters. We voted about the copyright directive which relates almost to everyone who goes in the internet. We voted about the daylight saving time, whether it should continue or whether it should be abolished. And we also voted about the final report of the community on financial crimes and tax evasion. All these issues matter: So please come and vote!

Allein heute konnten wir an vielen Beispielen erkennen, warum das Europäische Parlament zählt. Wir haben die Copyright-Richtlinie beschlossen, die jeden betrifft, der ins Internet geht. Wir haben über die Sommerzeit abgestimmt, soll sie bleiben oder abgeschafft werden. Und wir haben über den Abschlussbericht der Union über Finanzkriminalität und Steuerhinterziehung abgestimmt. Alle diese Angelegenheiten sind bedeutend: Also bitte gehen Sie wählen!

Aujourd’hui, nous avons pu constater, grâce à de nombreux exemples, pourquoi le Parlement Européen compte. Nous avons voté pour la directive des droits d’auteur qui concerne tout utilisateur d’Internet. Nous avons voté sur le changement d’heure, si oui ou non, il convient de l’abolir. Et nous avons voté le rapport final de l’Union sur la criminalité financière et la fraude fiscale. Tous ces dossiers sont importants : donc, s’il vous plaît – allez voter !
