Iran – the US is stifling the revolution

(KL) – With his greed for “deals”, US President Donald Trump has stabbed the Iranian revolution in the back and pulled the rug out from under the protests aimed at overthrowing the murderous mullah regime. But despite the extreme danger, protests continue in several cities – yet Trump is drowning out the Iranians’ call for freedom with his “deals.”

The mullahs have understood how simple-minded the US president really is. Offer him a deal that will make money for him and his billionaire friends, and the man forgets everything he said before. And that is exactly what the mullahs are doing now. They have managed to divert attention away from regime change and onto a combined nuclear program/oil deal, and when he hears “oil”, Trump no longer cares about human rights, he is not bothered by the ongoing executions, he just wants to make money. Trump doesn’t even notice how the mullahs are leading him around by the nose.

And yet, in many cities, the predominantly young demonstrators continue to take to the streets and demand the overthrow of the regime. But these protests are life-threatening in a country where tens of thousands of heavily armed militiamen hunt down the protesters, who often pay for their protests with their lives. However, despite all the courage shown by the protesters, these protests are primarily symbolic today. Trump’s “negotiations” with the mullahs have ensured that they are back in the saddle.

The American threats and announcements of military action are just for show. There is nothing the Americans could attack in Iran that would help the Iranian people. A “deal” would be interesting for Trump, and if the mullahs offer the Americans before the next “negotiations” on Thursday that US companies can invest heavily in the Iranian oil sector (and earn a lot of money), then Trump won’t care about the brutal repression of this regime.

The embers of the revolution are still smoldering in Iran, but Trump’s erratic policies are only making everything more difficult than before. It doesn’t help much that the entire Middle East is looking to Iran, where the usual US pattern is playing out – “deal or military force.”

No one can say today what will happen next in Iranian cities. In Tehran, young people are protesting with the slogan “We can and we must,” which shows the desperation of these demonstrators.

Meanwhile, thanks to the pathetic US diplomacy, the mullahs have regained momentum and are making demands of the US – among other things, they refuse to halt their nuclear program. Since everything is a question of price for Trump, the mullahs will make him an offer that will allow them to remain in power and share some of the profits from the oil business with Trump and his friends.

Soon, no one in the US will talk about the thousands of victims of this criminal regime, nor will they talk about the fact that it was Trump who prevented the overthrow of this regime in order to continue enriching himself. The damage this insane president is causing worldwide is almost impossible to quantify.
