Iran’s Nuclear Deception – The Islamic Bomb Program
For years, the world has struggled with the mystery of Iran’s nuclear ambitions, playing a diplomatic game of talks and agreements meant to rein in its quest for nuclear arms. But a chilling secret has shattered the thin veneer of Iranian regime’s compliance and exposed a covert plan designed to strengthen its nuclear weapon program.

(KD / Red) – The revelation was made by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and serves as a smoking gun against the regime, illustrating that while its diplomats are participating in negotiations, its nuclear scientists are moving ahead full throttle to enhance their ability to create nuclear weapons.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), of which the MEK is the main member, is the primary opposition to the religious dictatorship in Iran and has made the most significant contributions to disclosing the regime’s clandestine nuclear project. The NCRI was the first to reveal the mullahs’ secret nuclear program in 2002, and over 100 additional disclosures, including one on Thursday, May 8, at the offices of the NCRI in Washington, D.C., have prevented the regime from acquiring the bomb. It’s also worth noting that all of these disclosures have relied on human sources on the ground, supported by the extensive grassroots base of the MEK within the country. A network of supporters and unidentified members of the resistance operates in various governmental organizations, working around the clock to gather information, clarify uncertainties, and confirm details, all while accepting significant risks. The MEK has paid a heavy price to expose the regime’s secret bomb factory.
From the outset, the NCRI has urged the West and the IAEA that the only way to stop the regime’s nuclear weapon program is to impose all United Nations Security Council sanctions, known as “SnapBack”, and to cease the appeasement policy toward the mullahs. However, in the absence of a firm policy, the mullahs have advanced their enrichment and missile programs to a level that, based on the IAEA’s report, puts them only a few weeks or months away from acquiring the weapon.
According to reports by NCRI website, the May 8th revelation focused on the work of an organization known as the Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research (SPND), which based on several previous revelations by the NCRI, has been working to design and build nuclear weapons with advanced payloads for years, according to a classified program that has been run since 2009. Designating Semnan Province as a military site, the “Rainbow Site”, where key components for weaponizing nuclear fuel was revealed during the conference.
According to Fox news report of the revelation, this site is purported to be a chemical company to disguise its actual function, which is part of SPND’s work to weaponize ballistic missiles for use under the cover of satellite launch program.
It’s location in such a secretive area, size, purpose-built facilities, heavy security, the surveillance and the heavy involvement of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh Mahabadi, the assassinated head of SPND, in its design and construction all indicates a well-orchestrated nuclear weapons program. The site is also strategically military sensitive in Iran, with a long-range radar and missile defense system in close proximity, according to Thursday’s revelation.
Thursday’s revelations is a reminder, that the mullahs in Tehran are masters of deception, and diplomacy is their smoke screen behind which to run down their explosive clock.
The minutes after the news conference added to the sense of how these revelations are going to cut here. At 2:30 am, in a panicking attempt to deny the contents of the records, Abbas Araghchi, the regime’s foreign minister, published a x-record note with worries to refute the data claims, full of same old lies against the Iranian People’s most important opposition, the MEK. His assertion, however, did not deny the nuclear activities at the Rainbow Site. This hurried reaction, at such an unusual hour, speaks volumes about the veracity of the claims and the regime’s desperate attempt to deflect international scrutiny.
The new revelation proves on more time that the Iranian regime is working secretly and deceptively under the cover of a peaceful nuclear program, toward exercising a military nuclear program.
Despite the regime officials claims of practicing a peaceful nuclear program, the Rainbow Site says otherwise – a complex of facilities, an important location and so much armed forces around, it is clearly visible. Naive is a luxury the international community can no longer afford. It needs to give up the fiction that talks will somehow diminish Iran’s nuclear ambitions. We need a strong, tough approach to prevent the biggest state sponsor of terrorism from obtaining the most dangerous weapon. The world’s security, and certainly Britain’s, are at stake.
President-elect of the NCRI, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, told Irish MPs in a virtual conference on April 29: “In the past 30 years, Western governments have tried many appeasement policies toward this regime, but all of them have failed. Now, it is time for a major change in Europe’s policy toward Iran. The most important part of this change is to stand with the Iranian people.” She urged Europe and the world to take the following steps:
-
Add the Revolutionary Guard Corps (the IRGC) to the list of terrorist organizations.
-
Immediately activate the snapback mechanism under UN Security Council Resolution 2231 and restore past UN Security Council resolutions on the regime’s nuclear projects. Dismantle all the regime’s nuclear sites, including Natanz, Fordow, and Arak.
-
Recognize the Iranian people’s struggle to overthrow the regime and support the resistance of brave young Iranians fighting the IRGC.
The evolution of Iran’s nuclear program must be a major concern to the western world. One should not forget that Iran is a partner of Russia and that nuclear weapons developed in Iran, might as well target on day Europe or the United States. Once more, time to act is now.
This is a very informative piece that provides a historical lesson on how the Iranian dictatorship has been exposed by the opposition for its secretive activities aimed at bullying the world.
