It is important to attend the European election, because since the Lisbon treaty came into force, the European Parliament became a genuine co-legislator which decides or co-decides with the Council of Ministers on matters that touch upon the daily lives of European citizens. So, if you are interested in the security of this continent, in the way the internal market works, but even if you are interested in your own wallet, then you should definitely attend the European elections.
