 Wenn man sich die lange Geschichte unseres Kontinents anschaut, hat uns Offenheit, Austausch und gemeinsame Politik immer gut getan und Nationalismus und Abschottung hat uns immer geschadet. Genau um diese Richtungsfrage geht es am 26. Mai und sie ist zu wichtig, um sie anderen zu überlassen.

Se si guarda alla lunga storia de nostro continente, l’apertura, gli scambi e la politica comune hanno sempre fatto del bene mentre il nazionalismo e l’isolamento ci hanno sempre nuociuto. È in questi termini che si decide il 26 maggio. Si tratta di una scelta troppo importante per lasciarla ad altri.

Si nous considérons la longue histoire de notre continent, l’ouverture, nous voyons que l’échange et la politique commune nous ont toujours été bénéfiques, et que le nationalisme et l’isolement nous ont toujours nui. C’est précisément cette question d’orientation qui sera à l’ordre du jour le 26 mai ; et elle est trop importante pour être laissée aux autres.

If you consider the long history of our continent, you’ll notice that openess, exchange and a common policy have always had a positive impact, whereas nationalism and isolation have always had negative consequences. Exactly this question of the future orientation will be at stake on May 26 and the answer is too important to leave it to the others.
